Rising operating temperatures, corrosive environments, and the growing adoption of connected technologies are pushing hazardous-area design beyond standard ATEX compliance.
On September 8, 2026, Palazzoli will host a technical webinar addressing how engineers and plant operators can respond to these challenges.
Titled "Next-Gen ATEX: Power, Light, and Control in One Solution," the session will focus on integrated ATEX solutions for power distribution, lighting, and control, with particular attention to equipment rated for operation up to +70°C.
The webinar will be led by Luca Bassani, Business Development Manager at Palazzoli, and Fabrizio Urciuoli, Project Development Manager at Palazzoli. Topics will include how high ambient temperatures affect the performance and lifetime of ATEX-certified equipment, the engineering significance of ATEX temperature classes, and global trends shaping hazardous-area design, including LNG and hydrogen expansion and the increasing use of connected industrial equipment.
The session will also cover solution selection for demanding sectors such as oil & gas, marine, offshore, mining, and process industries, drawing on lessons from real-world high-temperature ATEX installations. Palazzoli will present its Very High Temperature ATEX line, developed for operation up to +70°C.
The webinar will be held on Microsoft Teams and will close with a live Q&A session with both speakers.
