Electrical safety standards

The purpose of the endurance test is to verify that the safety performance of products is maintained even after the wear and tear caused by using the product during its lifetime.

The test consists of performing cycles of plugging and unplugging the plugs from the socket-outlets connected to a load corresponding to the product ratings. At the end of the test, the safety requirements of the standards must be maintained.
